At Copper Creek Dental in Daybreak, our mission is to provide only the most thorough and complete dental care to our patients.
ROBERT STALEY D.M.D
Dr. Staley is a Utah native who spent most of his adolescence in West Jordan and South Jordan. After serving as a missionary in Uruguay, Robert pursued the study of Medicine at the University of Utah, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology. His Doctorate was obtained at University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Immediately following his graduation from U of L, he served as a lieutenant in the Naval Dental Corps for 3 years and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander. Robert returned to his home state of Utah and opened his first dental office in 2002 at a location in West Jordan. In 2012 the dental team moved to a new and improved location in South Jordan where the Copper Creek team was able to implement input that his patients had given him throughout the years. Another huge part of Dr. Staley’s success, he attributes to his support system consisting of his wife of 30 years and his children ranging from 18 to 28 years of age. He is the proud grandpa of two grandchildren.
Jared Curtis D.M.D.
Dr. Curtis grew up in small town northern Utah as the youngest of 6 children. He pursued his undergrad studies at Utah State University with a major in Biomedical engineering and minors in chemistry, biology, and french. Most of the french was learned from his time living in southern France as a missionary. He credits his time there with teaching him compassion for others and fortitude in the face of opposition. When he returned home he was a better student, a better friend, and an all around better person. During his time at Utah State University he met Liesl and knew instantly she was the one. They started their adventure together, and have enjoyed every stage of life thus far.
They left for Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2009. From that time forward dentistry has gifted them opportunities to travel abroad on service missions, to serve here locally, and to contribute to our community. He joined Copper Creek Dental in 2014. His pursuit of perfection has led to advanced training in prosthodontics, implant surgery, alignment, and occlusion. His favorite aspect of dentistry is interacting with patients where he enjoys getting to know their story. There is also enjoyment for him in providing relief, and a smile you can feel confident sharing.
His team at home consists of some of the brightest, kindest, and most thoughtful little girls the world has ever known. They are joy filled and fun. Happiness for him is watching them grow and develop. His first and only son came last. He laughs a lot and loves to be held. There is something to being the youngest! On any given Saturday we might be at a dance recital, lacrosse or basketball game, or enjoying the mountains.
Mike Thomas D.m.d.
Dr. Thomas grew up in Chino Hills, California, but visited Utah often because of family ties. After serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alberta, Canada, he returned home and pursued a degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University, Provo. His study of public health prepared him to be accepted into the Roseman University of Health Sciences Doctor of Dental Medicine program. Dr. Thomas is an anticipated Affiliate Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. His passion and attention to detail make him a great addition to the Copper Creek family. When Dr. Thomas is not in the office he enjoys outdoor activities, exercising, and spending time with his family.
Jennifer
Jennifer has been with Copper Creek Dental since 2010, which obviously shows how much she loves working with the team and patients of Copper Creek Dental!! She loves spending as much time as possible with her husband and 4 children. Some things they like to do together include boating on Lake Powell, camping and riding ATVs. In her personal time, Jen enjoys reading (especially historical fiction).
Rachael
Rachael joined the Copper Creek Dental front office team in 2018. She has always had compassion and a love of people and their individual stories. She enjoys getting to know our patients, young and old. When she's not in the office you can usually find her in the kitchen trying a new recipe or perfecting an old one, running her kids to their sports and social activities or enjoying time in nature. Rachael and her husband have a beautiful daughter and two handsome sons.
Amy
Amy is part of the Copper Creek Dental front office team. She has worked with Copper Creek Dental since 2016, and has been in the dental field for 14 years. She loves dance, fitness, traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
Megan
Megan has been with the front office staff for two years and feels blessed to be part of such an awesome team! When she isn’t at the office, you will find her spending time with her husband and four children. She also enjoys graphic design, watching movies, reading, camping, or listening to music. Her goals and dreams include visiting Europe, finishing her education, and starting her own graphic design business.
Michelle
Michelle has been with Copper Creek Dental for the last seven years and hopefully forever more! Her favorite part about work is talking to the patients each time they come in. When she is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her handsome husband and two beautiful daughters. Michelle also loves running, laughing, playing sports and knock-knock jokes!
Heather
Heather has been with Copper Creek Dental as a hygienist for 18 years now, that is crazy! I have a wonderful husband and four amazing kids. My family is my life, I love being a mom and spending time with them.
Lori
Lori has been a hygienist with Copper Creek dental for the last 14 years. For over seven of those years she has been with Copper Creek Dental. While in her spare time she likes to make friends, adventure, travel, yoga, and marathon running a big part of her life. She married her husband along with becoming an instant mom to 5 kids which changed her life routine significantly, as they also added 2 children of their own, now making 4 boys, 3 girls, and a daughter-in-law. She has a great love for nature of all types. She loves to be in the mountains skiing, hiking, or snowmobiling or on the water boating and waterskiing. She currently works one day a week as her life has become very demanding, but she loves her Copper Creek family and the patients she has had the opportunity to know and treat over the years.
Beth
Beth is a Dental Hygienist at Copper Creek and has been practicing for over 12 years. She graduated with a degree from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene while also obtaining a license to administer local anesthetic. Beth loves to help her patients learn about good oral health and is always looking forward to seeing the positive changes in her patient’s smiles. When Beth is not at the office she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys boating, skiing, high fitness and golfing.
Leeann
LeeAnn has enjoyed a career in Dentistry for 40 years. She loves connecting with her hygiene patients at Copper Creek Dental. When she is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys gardening, sewing and crafts.
Tammy
Tammy began her career in dentistry 28 years ago as a certified dental assistant. In 1997, she became a registered dental hygienist after graduating from Weber State University. Tammy loves working with people and enjoys the relationships she has made with patients and office staff. Those that know her say she has the great ability of truly caring about each and every one of her patients and helping them in their dental health journey. She resides in West Jordan with her husband and four children. Her hobbies include pickleball, canyoneering, and exploring trails on her four-wheeler, turbo RZR, and high performance electric scooter.
Nichol
Nichol has worked as a dental hygienist for 23 years. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Weber State University. In her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her 4 kids and husband. She enjoys hiking, reading, skiing, boating and vacationing with her family.
Bethani
Bethani graduated with her degree in dental hygiene from Salt Lake Community College in 2020. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, she was a dental assistant for 5 years. She truly enjoys meeting new people and she loves building personable relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable in her chair. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoys fitness, yoga, dancing, cooking, and being in nature.
Meg
Megan is a treatment coordinator at Copper Creek Dental. She was hired on right after graduating high school. She is in the process of completing her pre requisites for dental hygiene school. She is a dog mom to a beautiful husky puppy, they love to hike, swim, and go on adventures. Megan also enjoys working out, snowboarding, and boating.
Aurora
Aurora is a treatment coordinator at Copper Creek Dental. Aurora is new to our office, and loves learning all about dentistry. She enjoys helping other people. Aurora is originally from Alaska, and moved to Utah for college! When she isn't in the office Aurora will be found coaching her volleyball team or in the outdoors anytime and anywhere that she can!
Michonne
Michonne is a treatment coordinator at Copper Creek Dental. She has been with us for almost one year and she loves being in the office a couple of days a week! When she isn’t working, she’s probably either enjoying hanging out with her husband or in her car shuttling her 4 kids around to their dance and sports practices. If she happens to find some spare time, you may find her at home doing a craft project, reading a book, or cooking and baking. Michonne loves being part of the Copper Creek team and especially loves getting to know our patients!
Grace
Grace is a treatment coordinator at Copper Creek Dental. She has recently joined our team and will be pursuing a career in dental hygiene. She loves hiking, camping, paddle boarding, snowboarding, going to the gym, and dancing. She is most excited about providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile!
Raquelle
Raquelle has lived in South Jordan, Utah her whole life. She is currently attending Utah Valley University and loves to learn! After work, you can find Raquelle on the soccer field coaching her team and kicking the ball around. She loves to stay active, and likes to be outdoors camping, hiking, and boating. Raquelle loves to travel, but her favorite place to visit is Disneyland.
Makenna
Makenna is attending Salt Lake Community College working on her Pre-med and Exercise Science Degree. She loves working out, hiking, snowboarding and traveling. Her favorite place to travel to is Hawaii! She loves being able to provide for patients and help them gain confidence in their smile!
Marisa
Marisa is in the office twice a week and excited to be here! In her time away you might find her substitute teaching at the local schools. But most often you will find her on the sideline of a soccer or football field watching one of her 3 boys or in the audience of a dance competition watching her daughter. She loves spending time with and traveling with her husband and four kids, they are her favorite people. But she will take every chance she gets to be with friends. In the rare quiet moments she likes to read.
